Welcome to C.C. Griffin Middle School, where students are encouraged to learn, explore, and excel in Concord, North Carolina.

Serving grades 6–8, C.C. Griffin Middle School is committed to fostering a learning environment built on respect, responsibility, and academic success. Our school embraces a culture of curiosity, collaboration, and continuous improvement, helping students grow both in the classroom and as members of the community.

With a diverse and dedicated student population, we provide engaging instruction, enriching electives, and a wide range of extracurricular opportunities. Our staff works to create meaningful connections that support each learner’s academic progress and personal development.

Our History

Thank you for choosing Griffin. Our school is named after Mr. C.C. Griffin. CC stands for Curl Caesar. So, this is Curl Caesar Griffin Middle School. Mr. Griffin was a very successful principal at Logan High School in Concord, for 15 years.  Logan High School was a historic African American school. He was referred to as a super principal by his students because he was demanding, had high expectations and cared deeply about all of his students.
