PTSO is hosting a Penny War from November 3–14 to raise money for our Field Trip Scholarship Fund, which supports scholars needing financial assistance. This year’s competition is Team vs. Team at each grade level: 6th: Yeti vs. Kitsune 7th: Kraken vs. Phoenix 8th: Dragon vs. Phoenix Scholars add points to their team with pennies and bills, and subtract points from the opposing team with silver coins. Winning teams earn an ice cream party sponsored by Blue Bell Ice Cream. Points: Penny = 1 | $1 = 100 | $5 = 500 | $10 = 1000 | $20 = 2000 Nickel = -5 | Dime = -10 | Quarter = -25 Jugs are located in: 6th – Gerello (Yeti) & Watts (Kitsune) 7th – Krimminger (Kraken) & Polk (Phoenix) 8th – Bruce (Dragon) & Berlin (Phoenix) Please help promote the event and reach out with any questions!
